Go From Strength To Strength
Angus
Council's Convener of Recreation and Cultural Services has
congratulated all those involved in the county's annual Sports
Personality of the Year Awards.
For
the past six years, the council has worked in partnership with Angus
Sports Council to recognise the achievements of the local sporting
community.
The
awards aim to recognise the achievements of people who have excelled
in their field and shown true dedication to sport.
Councillor
Ian Angus offered his congratulations to all those who were
successful at the awards ceremony and thanked those who worked to
bring the event to fruition each year.
He
said: "Angus Council is proud to be associated with these
awards which reflect the excellence and sheer dedication of our
sportsmen and women.
"This
event goes from strength to strength, and every year the quantity
and quality of the nominations gets better and better. Everyone
associated with the sports awards is to be congratulated on their
continuing success."
