LAUNCH
OF SPORT RELIEF GRANTS PROGRAMME - GRANTS OF UP TO £5,000 FOR LOCAL
GROUPS
The Scottish Community Foundation is
delighted to announce the launch of the Sport Relief grants programme
in Scotland. Between now and December 2006, the programme will
distribute £304,000 of money raised during Sport Relief 2004 in the
form of small grants to groups and organisations throughout Scotland
which use sport to tackle the exclusion and isolation experienced by
the poorest and most disadvantaged communities.
The grants will be processed in the same
way as the Scottish Community Foundation’s own Community Grants
programme. Not-for-profit groups wishing to apply can find out more
