Welcome
to the 2002/03 Annual Report for Angus Sports Council.
It has been another very busy and successful 12 months for
the sports council as many of the reports show.
During
the year we have continued to provide many services to our
affiliated clubs as well as extend our involvement in many areas
including SALSC events, Sportshall Athletics, club and coach
development and the service of quality advice and information
provision. In addition
we have made efforts to improve the way in which we commend and
honour those that have made major achievements in their sport
throughout the past year through the Angus Sports Awards.
The
chairperson’s report, I feel, expresses the effort that has been
made by those that have participated, organised, supervised,
coached, tutored and volunteered throughout the year for, or on
behalf of, Angus Sports Council.
I can only support the chairperson by thanking every one of
you for your efforts. Over
all the work that has been done over the past year further boasts
the benefits that are available to clubs that are willing to
represent themselves and become involved with the work of ASC.
Finally,
thank you to everyone who has contributed to the work of the Angus
Sports Council and has helped ease the pains of the secretary!
I look forward to another positive year ahead and increased
success of ASC with Paul Graham at the helm.
